Follow the path to a doorway to nature...

The Receiving Shelter will allow school groups to safely unload students in case of inclement weather. They will then be led along the paved walkway into the nature center for an amazing field trip experience about the wildlife that encompasses Catoctin Creek Park and Frederick County.

  1. I am very excited to see the updates and the green roof! I would like to get involved, but the link under volunteer takes me to the Fountain Rock blog- where can I go to get involved?

I am so excited to have such a facility in Jefferson! It will be a great place for our Pack and Webelos scouts to visit. Will there be any service projects they can do to help out the park?
