Take a Hike!
One feature at Catoctin Creek Nature Center that has not been discussed recently is the extensive trail system. The crews from BSI were hard at work laying out the path of this trail this week. When completed the paved trail will lead from the nature center through open meadows and tree lines, and eventually to the large shelter and playground. This feature will be great for families as they explore the great outdoors at Catoctin Creek Park. Hopefully this and the other amenities will be available in December or January. Enjoy the photos of the beginnings of the Catoctin Creek Trail!
