Happy Trails!
Mother Nature decided to give us a bountiful spring and the garlic mustard and clever decided that the newly formed trails would be perfect for them. But thanks to the help of Frederick Christian Academy and their extremely efficient mulching skills, the paths will only be growing memories. We encourage you to come out and enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Spring Intro to Landscaping with Native Plants
No, you will not be planting these flowers, but you will learn about planting native plants in our “Intro to Landscaping with Native Plants”. There are still spaces available where you will survey some native plants that are particularly useful for home landscaping with an emphasis on spring interest. We’ll look at techniques for working with spring ephemerals, including companion planting schemes. Instructor Chris Pax is a landscape design professional with a graduate degree in sustainable landscape design and a keen interest in our native plants. She will share inspiring photos of area gardens as well as combinations found in nature.
