Nature Camp Week 2, and important holiday information!

Our second week of Nature camps is underway, and both campers and staff are having a blast! From roach races to archery to crafts, our campers are making the most out of their time here at Catoctin Creek!

While we love having visitors, the Nature Center will be closed on Sunday, July 3rd, and Monday, July 4th, in observation of Independence Day. Nature camp for next week will begin on Tuesday, July 5th. Have a safe, happy and environmentally-friendly 4th of July!

Our first week of camp is a success!

Our first week of camp is wrapping up, and the kids are loving their time here at Catoctin Creek! From tie-dyeing to nature hikes to tubing in the creek, our counselors and staff are making sure campers always have something fun to do at camp. The Nature Center Staff and Volunteers have been working hard for the past few weeks to make sure our Eco Adventure and Nature Adventure camps are ready, and now all that's missing are our campers! Our "Into the Wild" and "Backyard Buddies" adventure camps start tomorrow, so make sure you come prepared for a fun day exploring nature and the outdoors.
