Creek Chubs Club
These programs are designed for little nature lovers! Your child will learn about the natural world through stories, live animals, nature walks, hands on crafts, and games. Parents are free. Dress appropriately for outdoor activities.

Home School Nature Days Topic: The Amazing Amazon
Allow our experienced naturalists to enrich your child's studies through a multi-disciplinary approach using nature as a focus. There will be separate lessons for younger and older home schoolers with a group activity at the end. Parents are encouraged to attend, but are also required to register.

Whistle Pig-Wake Up!
Did the groundhog see its shadow today? We'll learn all about this burrowing dweller and find out if it can really forecast when spring arrives. We'll make a fun groundhog craft and go on a walk in search of this sleeping rodent.

Wintry Hike Along Catoctin Creek
Enjoy the wintry festiveness as we hike and explore the fields and woods. Discover how to use the clues of bark, fruit, buds and twigs to identify trees during the wintertime. We'll conclude our jaunt with warm wintry treats!
