We would like to thank all the volunteers that came out
and helped with this years
Project Clean Stream Event! We filled two large Frederick
County Trucks with debris collected near Catoctin Creek and planted close to 50
trees & shrubs. Catoctin Creek Park was one of
over 200 cleanup events taking part in the Alliance for the Chesapeake’s
Project Clean Stream Event this weekend. This year there were cleanup sites in
all 6 states and the District of Columbia that are encompassed by the 64,000
square mile Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Thanks to all of you for making this
event possible!
