Upcoming Fall Nature Series

Home School Drop in Science     #16357  
On the first Friday of each month we will have hands on activities available for families to enjoy at their leisure. Activities include: geo-caching, microscope explorations, natural history labs, and much more. This program is held on 1st Friday's of each month this fall (9/7, 10/5, 11/2, 12/7)
Ages 7-12 , Fee:$15 (for all 4 sessions)

Animal Husbandry Specialist    #16395  
Have fun taking care of and interacting with our Nature Center animals! Help check the health of our animals, add mulch to their terrariums, clean their tanks, feed them, refresh their water, and learn some neat animal facts. Wear old clothes. We talk about different animal care careers and mention ways in which teens can gain more hands on experience working with animals (9/11, 10/9, 11/6).
Ages 13+yrs old, Fee:$38 (for all 3 sessions)

Home School Days    # 16349
Allow our experienced naturalists to enrich your child's studies through a multi-disciplinary approach using nature as a focus. Each month a different curriculum topic is presented. Parents are encouraged to attend, but are also required to register (9/14,11/16).

Park Activities

Come visit us this weekend and try out our Geocache Trails. Visitors can rent one of our gps units for $5 or bring their own. All participants will receive a gps map & activity guide.
